(yes, those are two new teeth for this 6 month old!)
Once upon a time, there was a saying that went like this, "Edit, edit, edit."
Well, I chose to ignore that and post a billion photos. Because, I couldn't help it.
I realize that most moms think their kids are the best. And, that's okay.
I think mine are.
It's amazing to think about how much I adore them... and then realize most other parents adore their kids just as much.
I wonder, is it even possible?
I mean, no one can love their children as much as I love mine? Right?
Well, I'm probably wrong.
But, I guess I'm just saying that I have a whole lot of love for these two crazies.
They are my two little shadows and there's no where I'd rather be.
So, we took photos today. I know, I know. There are a few months that I'm behind on as far as "blogging" goes. I realize that there are other projects that probably should have priority... but all I wanted to do at the moment was crop these photos down and put them on here for my family and friends to see.
Especially my mom. It's her birthday, you see.
And, I think it's crazy that she loves me as much as I love them.
Wow.
("Maaaa-zeee-bemb-ah. Bah-bah-beee-zeepio. Sssesooooom. Ennyahhh-ahh!"
Do you hear the Lion King's "Circle of Life" song playing in the background? Me too. Weird.)
I love you, mom.
Happy Birthday.
And, also, Happy Birthday to the big Tyler man. He gets home from his mission next week and we couldn't be more excited!!
Okay, enough chit chat. Let the happiness begin.
whickity-whickity-whack!
whoop. there it is. hope you enjoyed.

Cutest kids ever! I love that you post a ton of pictures too! I always think I am posting way too many but I can never decided which ones to leave out because my kids are way too cute! Tillie's hair kills me! I hope Avery has some curl in her hair.
Cute cute cute pictures! I love them all!
Miss! I am so happy you are back to blogging. I have missed you humor and wit and cute pics of your chillens .... Thanks for returning to entertain me!
so cute Melissa! I can't believe how grown up you kids are! Especially Tillie! And yes, I'm pretty sure I love my kid more than you love yours! :)
Yay! I love all the pictures. Sad that your kids are growing up and we are missing it! What cuties!
too cute. tillie is quite the doll. I love tons of pictures; that's how I roll.
Probably the 6th time I have looked at this post. And yesterday I showed it to all my co-workers during our team meeting. can't get enough. I will soon be printing the one of Calvin with the perfect face and the one of Tillie's face slightly cut off with the hugest smile. darling.
oh my goodness. what cuties. is that red hair i see? oh, we have a red head boy too. watch out.
yes we did enjoy, such a fun photoshoot!
oh, I MISS the days when my kids liked each other! Now all they do is claw at each other and scream, "HE'S LOOKING AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!" (yes, those 800 exclamation points were TOTALLY necessary!) I love those sweet shots where it looks like he's trying to kiss her! Her curls are adorable and could that shirt be cuter?
There's something about 2nd children, I swear. My brother has 2 boys and the oldest is sweet and smart and has that hint of mischief in his big brown eyes. The youngest is sweet and compassionate and you can SEE love pouring out from his eyes. Don't get me wrong - they are both sweet as pie, but the little? There's just something about him. So when I had MY second, it felt like I had my brothers kids. Because my oldest is a firecracker. He is the epitome of me (poor kid. poor mama!) and such a drama queen! He's darling and can be very sweet, and he's smart and funny... but OY that child exhausts me! Then there's the "baby" who has this WAY about him. He says sweet loving things and snuggles so nicely and has just always been like that ... JUST NICE, yanno!? My friends that have 2 kids (especially ones close together in age - mine are 3 and 4 1/2 and my brother has 2 that are 18 months apart) all say the same thing. Funny that I came across a book the other day that was titled "How to have your second child first" --- had I ONLY KNOWN! ;)
sorry that I blather. I've loved reading your posts! Your group of friends looks amazing and fun. I just love that y'all have had kids together it seems... you're giving your kids lifetime playmates! so awesome!
