These are my kids.

So, I took some photos of the kids today. Why? Because the house was clean (a small miracle, if you know this crew). There is something magical about a clean space---you just feel better being in it.  The kids could feel it too.

Tillie is 5.75 years old. Calvin is 4. Benny is going to be 1.5 (tomorrow).

Sometimes I want to freeze time. This afternoon I wanted to do that.

(this morning at Costco when Cal was whining b/c he "was staaaarving!" (even though he'd just eaten 5 Wendy's chicken nuggets, a mini frosty, fruit snacks, and panda chocolate snacks) and Benny was wiggin' out screaming his guts out b/c he was ready. to. be. out. of. that. cart!!! (it was nap time, I was pushin' it)-----I DID NOT want to freeze time this morning. Frankly, I would have been happy to fast forward it!)

Where were we?  Ah, yes.  The time that I wanted to freeze time.
Let's take a look at these little stinkers.

I love this last one. Benny feeling so proud of himself as he runs to the camera, Cal yanking at Tillie's dress (those two are constantly badgering each other...)

This is my life as of March 4, 2014.  Feeling pretty lucky right about now.

calvin and tillie

Melis just sent me a text and it said:

Cal said to Tillie, "hey you can help me make my jake ship" (referring to his duplo lego jake and the neverland pirates ship he hasn't stopped playing with since he got it for christmas).

Tillie replied, "Oh, sorry bud! I gotta eat my snack and then do my homework. But I can help after that!"

Cal said, "That's ok Til. I can wait for a thousand years."

Melissa said, "I die!! So cute!"

Anyway. Quick story. We are trying to organize our lives and get the blog working again. We just printed off a blog book for 2008 via blog2print and it was super fast and easy and awesome, but a little pricier than blurb, but WAY quicker. Just less flexibility with layout and formatting and that sort of thing.
