Ok, for some clarification, I am not popping any pills to make this baby come sooner. Yes, I have thought of it, but have not gone through with it. They are called Primrose Oil pills, and they are supposed to get things going, but I am too afraid.
So, thanks Aaron, for knowing what medications your pregnant wife is taking, and, thanks to the public for thinking I am a pill popper. :)
Baby? yeah, she's not here yet. We have been walking up and down the streets of our subdivision, so if you see me in the wee hours of the night, you'll know why.
We had a scare on Sunday morning that involved us rushing to the hospital and staying for a few hours to run tests. I hadn't felt her move for a long time and we were really nervous. Unbeknownst to most of you, Aaron is a great speed racer. We got to the hospital in record time and thankfully found a very strong heart beat from this little one. But, she still wasn't moving for a while when they were monitoring her. So, they checked fluid levels and did all sorts of things, and the verdict was/is that she must take after her mom. She is a good napper. :) We'll see if that holds true when she greets us in real life. Thankfully, everything still looks good.
So, my friends, we are playing the waiting game. Lizbert (my sister), my mom, Aaron and I are all on pins and needles passing the time. Let me know of any tricks that may speed this whole process along. We are REALLY anxious to see this baby!

Well, I will tell you, with my experience in my occupation, comment #2 (excluding the deleted one) is the only one that really works. Castor Oil does too but you don't want to do it (the last phrase of the pepto bismal commercial). If you start contracting walking will help them come stronger sometimes, but it won't really make them start.
We check here each day and can't wait to hear the news! We're glad everything is okay. We hope she comes soon so that Aunt Lizzy can see her before she has to go home!!! We love you and are praying for you!!!!!!!!!!
WHEN IS THAT BABY GOING TO COME OUT AND SEE THE WORLD? I'm getting anxious just reading your blog. I hope that you post immediate updates from the hospital bed just after delivery! OK. . . may the next day would be fine. Mandi
Thank goodness everything is ok! We're very excited for her debut into this wonderful world!
i am glad that little aarolissa (you know you want to use it!) is healthy and strong, i am sure that was scary for you! have your dr. strip your membranes (yeah that sounds a little gross and graphic, sorry) but boy oh boy does it do the trick, i went into labor right then and had olive within about 10 hours.
I'm sorry that nothing seems to be helping this little gal come any sooner. I am so excited for her to just be here already! No advice from me since D was a week late and had to be induced...sorry.
thanks for your comments, pals! I am off on another venture through the subdivision.
oh, and sorry to delete so many of the comments, but team, our blog is rated "G" for a reason. We have some young readers and... so, that's that!
thanks team! we'll let you know when she's here!
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the OLED, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://oled-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
Hang in there! She'll make her debut when the time is right, and then you'll never be able to imagine life without her.
There are no tricks. They come when they come. I've tried everything and my babies were all late.
Now isn't that depressing?
your too funny! i want her to come really bad to, but she will come when she comes, like some have said:) you are too funny deleting all those comments, i told kip thats prob why there were so many deleted and i was right!!!
I don't know if I am more excited to see your next post or to see what ours will be...it's a race Snow Baby vs. Wood Baby! good luck!
We hope the next few days go well for you three. Whether the due date was a couple weeks ago or in a couple of days it will be awesome to have a new little baby.
Ok, I am definitely part of your "groupies" who is anxiously awaiting the debut of little baby Wood....so PLEASE POST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE BIG EVENT!!!!
Stripping the membranes followed by a really brisk walk and then stripping them again worked for us. My doc was leaving town so we wanted to deliver before he left. I had my fluid checked at the end too..kind of nerve racking i know but glad baby is doing well. Can't wait to see her cute face..she will come i promise!
My mom drank castor oil and oj and then went on a 2 mile walk, Daniel came so fast he was born at home. Grandma and Grandpa freaked out.
